is a full time lawyer and part-time creative person who lives and works 40 miles outside of London, England. In any spare time, she loves music and films and is often found running around the local park.

Anca Dumitru (Writer)

is a freelance writer and blogger based in Germany. Originally from Romania, she has vast international experience living and working in several Western European countries. is a native Brooklynite, a freelance journalist & singer with a B.S. in psychology. She loves exploring various cultures as well as learning from and collaborating with people from all walks of life.

Arthur Frymyer, Jr. (Writer)

is passionate about social justice, music, improving the world, religion, and deep-dish pizza. He is currently transitioning from the exciting world of temp agency flunky to the equally lucrative field of creative writing. Thoroughly unused Associate's Degrees in Computer Programming and Information Systems adorn the walls of his North Carolina home.

Brian Joergens (Photographer)

is a fine art, event, and portrait photographer based in Queens, New York. Following the birth of his children he developed a geeky obsession with photography and self expression which is on display at his website and on a variety of popular social media services.

 
Carla Davis (Writer)

is a journalist, screenwriter and web developer who splits time between New York, Florence, Italy and Miami.
Her passions are digital journalism, social entrepreneurship and independent film.

Chris Rugen (Designer)

is an Art/Creative Director with more than 16 years of combined agency and corporate in-house experience. He is a passionate, self-motivated team player, dedicated husband and fun-loving father of two. Chris formulates dynamic design solutions for print, the Web and interactive multimedia.

Craig Christopher O'Connor Jr (Photographer)

is an artist:photojournalist floating between Philly & NYC. His images and photo-essay's are reflections of the moments he experiences. Trying to share and save the beauty that is our world, as well share the stories of those trying to change the system.

 

David Bogoslaw (Writer)

is a journalist and award-winning filmmaker who has written about finance, energy, medicine, immigration and human rights.  He lives in the Republic of Brooklyn, loves to hike with his dogs and play catch with his son, and believes dialogue and getting to know people from other cultures can save the world. 

Edie Uyesugi (Marketing Director)

is a full time digital marketing consultant and strategist in the US who loves all things social. She's managed a large range of accounts from a leading PPC company to an Arabian yacht manufacture. Aside from her marketing endeavors she just enjoys people, online and off.

Edward Goldberg (Executive Director)

has been involved with film and online production for many moons, including stints with Think New Ideas, Ogilvy Interactive, and WebMD. He is a graduate of New York University’s Department of Film & Television, Interactive Telecommunications Program, and the Silver School of Social Work.

Elisabeth Stiglic (Photographer)

was born and raised in Northern Norway, Norwegian-Croatian art photographer Elisabeth spent 12 years in Copenhagen, where she completed a certificate program at Fatamorgana, the leading school of fine art photography in Denmark. She graduated from ICP (International Center of Photography) in New York in the spring of 2012.

Fedra Rodriguez (Writer)

is a Spanish-Brazilian citizen with a PhD degree in Translation Studies. She has lived in many different countries, working as translator, editorial assistant and writer. Her focus is on world culture, art and travel.

Fernando Martinez (Developer)

is a freelance designer with a Bachelor's Degree in Integrated Information Systems from Long Island University. In his spare time, he enjoys playing guitar and watching film documentaries.

John McGeehan (CTO)

is a Marketing Technology professional, leading teams and delighting clients for over 14 years. John specializes in the strategic use of technology for marketing communications, production and delivery.

Julia Walton (Writer)

is an aspiring novelist from Southern California who graduated from UC Irvine with a degree in History. In her free time she writes, reads, does yoga and wishes that she’d actually gotten that letter from Hogwarts…

Katherine Rausch (Writer)

is a freelance writer with a bachelor's degree in journalism. She recently worked for Women's eNews, an online news source devoted to women's issues. During college, she interned with the Associated Press in London and enjoyed writing for her school newspaper and magazine.

Kelly Gonsalves (Writer)

is a Chicago-based journalist originally from New Jersey. She writes for various print and online publications, with a particular interest in profiling musicians and passionate personalities. In addition to being a dedicated writer, her interests include marketing, social media, and live event productions. She is currently studying journalism and integrated marketing communications at Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.

Kyle LaFleur (Writer)

is a former Washington DC Congressional Reporter and a graduate of the University of New Hampshire. Born and raised in the granite state, he as also lived, worked and studied in New York City and London.

Lana Kitcher (Writer)

is a Japan-U.S. Intercultural Consultant and Personal Career Advisor. Lana was raised in New York, has lived in Ohio, Japan, Chile, Peru, and now resides in Brooklyn, NY. She loves traveling, and has written about her adventures in her blog

Lauren Roche (Photographer)

studied Public Health and Photography at UNC Greensboro and Photojournalism at the Duke Center for Documentary Studies. She takes a keen interest in documenting tourist attractions, generational gems and budding teeny-boppers. She currently lives in Brooklyn with her ex-bodega cat Butters. lives in Brooklyn, NY, and is a native of Oneida, NY, just outside of Syracuse. She has worked as an assistant with artists such as Stan Gaz and Ellie Ga. Currently she attends her final year at Marymount Manhattan College while doing headshots, weddings, and portraits.

Matt Goldstein (Writer)

is a NYC based freelance writer, tutor, and French and English translator specializing in work for non-profit organizations. He contributes to political satire, language and French culture blogs including his own, The Language Doc .

Neal Starkman (Writer)

has been a writer all his life. He’s written or developed novels, short stories, political essays, educational programs, songs, scripts, books, games, simulations, workshops, flyers, jokes, slogans, bumper stickers, and even shopping lists. His Ph.D. dissertation explored why many people don’t complain. Neal has been a resident of Seattle since 1975. He lives there with his wife, Chris, and son, Cole.

Rola Eldanaf (Writer)

earned her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing in May 2012. She is a fan of the written word, small gestures, puns, word play, and all things chocolate.

Sayaka Ueda (Photographer)

was born and grew up in Kyoto, Japan. She moved to America in 2005 to study digital media art at Temple University. She works as a graphic designer in NYC, though her real passion is photography. Shae Wright (Writer)

is a new resident to Brooklyn, New York. She has dedicated her life to the study of the human condition based on the combination of mind, body and spirit. It is with this knowledge and her writing that she hopes to create a more inspired, less dog-eat-dog world. She stays rooted in her belief in the power of the human heart and that when we are able to tap into that energy we have the courage, creativity, and passion required to do great things.

is an experienced marketer with over ten years of technology experience, Apps, and online marketing. He was formerly associated with HelloSoft and Apalya Technologies (Powers mobile TV in India with over 99% market share). Shendrel is currently pursuing his MBA from ICFAI University.

Tara Pettit (Writer)

is an Ohio-based freelance journalist and has had work appear in various print and online publications such as the national BookPage review, Collective for Women magazine, elephantjournal.com and Southeast Ohio magazine. She is a graduate of the Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University with a degree in journalism. Currently, Tara is freelance writing for several publications, volunteering her time with the United Nations, and pursuing lifelong endeavors as a spiritual and Ayurveda student.
